TATTOO AFTERCARE

  • Gently wash your new tattoo with mild, fragrance-free soap and lukewarm water several times a day, patting it dry, and applying a thin layer of fragrance-free moisturizer, or exposing it to direct sunlight for the first few weeks.

  • Washing ;

    • remove the initial bandage after the recommended time (24 hours) washing your hands thoroughly before touching your tattoo gently was the area with lukewarm water and mild, fragrance-free soap pat dry with clean paper towel, do not rub.

  • Moisturizing:

    • apply a thin layer of fragrance-free lotion or ointment specifically designed for tattoos after washing

    • consider using a petroleum-based ointment like Aquaphor during the initial phase

    • once the initial healing period is over, switch to a gentle, fragrance-free body lotion.

  • Avoid;

    • picking, scratching, or peeling scabs

    • soaking in hot tubs, swimming pools, or baths for the first few weeks exposing your tattoo to direct sunlight without sunscreen wearing tight clothing that may rub against the tattoo using harsh chemicals or soaps on the area

  • Important points to remember:

    • follow your artist's instructions: Your tattoo artist will provide specific aftercare guidelines tailored to your individual tattoo

    • watch for signs of infection: If uou notice excessive redness, swelling, pus, or fever, contact your doctor immediately

    • be patient: A tattoo can take several weeks to fully heal.
